Stenciling is really fun and simple and you can add amazing effects to 100's of home decorating projects.

1 - Position your stencil: Use low tack tape or repositionable spray mount to keep your stencil in place

2 - Paint your stencil: Depending on your project or preferences you can use a stencil brush, dense foam roller, or spray paint to paint your stencil

3 - Repeat your stencil: Repeat your pattern or motif over and over again. When you have finished, water based paints can be soaked/washed off the stencil and then stored away safe for future use

Top tip: Don't us too much paint! This will cause paint to seep under the stencil and cause blotchy edges.

This Moroccan circles pattern stencil is perfect for painting walls, floors, fabrics and furniture. It's the ideal decorating tool that allows you to be creative with how you use it. Simply align the stencil horizontally and vertically with previously painted areas - see images. Choose your own paint colours have fun and create something unique.

This stencil comes in various sizes to suit your project needs. Choose your size from the drop down box at the top of the listing. All sizes refer to the actual finished cut out design, which is cut into the sheet with a small border left around the edges for taping up or masking off.

WHAT ARE THE STENCILS MADE FROM?
The stencil has been cut from durable 190 micron Mylar stencil sheeting which is thin yet strong and hard wearing. Our stencils are reusable, washable and flexible and are suitable for use with most types of paint.

HOW DO YOU PAINT YOUR PATTERN STENCIL?
Instruction for wall stenciling - also good as a guide for smaller decorative projects.

The most popular way to paint this stencil is with a stencilling brush or dense foam roller depending on your project. Water based emulsion and acrylic paints work great.
Adhere the stencil to the surface you want to stencil using repositional spray mount (recommended) or pieces of tape.
Paint through the cut out parts of the stencil. Make sure not to use too much paint as this will cause paint to seep under the stencil leaving a blotchy result. It is important to off load your brush or roller onto scrap paper or kitchen roll before painting.
Place the stencil at the top of the wall to paint your first repeat - use a spirit level to ensure that it is level. Ideally find an area of the wall where you can do an uninterrupted row down the wall from ceiling to floor.
Most of our pattern stencils are aligned by overlaying the stencil with previously painted areas. Refer to individual listings to see how the pattern is repeated.
Once you have done this row, position the stencil to the left or right. Continue painting in vertical rows from top to bottom until the area is complete.
Bend and tape the stencil into the corners or against the ceiling or skirting board (mask of areas you don't want to get paint on) and finish those areas you cant get to with the roller with a brush.
If necessary you can wash your stencil carefully in warm soapy water. Smaller stencils in the sink/larger in the bath. Only wash your stencil if the paint build up on the stencil is effecting the results you are getting - not after every use.
